Douglas Academy Library Resource Centre provides a welcoming and vibrant environment to pupils for class use and personal study. It is located on the first floor of the building upstairs from the Social Space / Canteen giving access to a wide range of resources for both staff and pupils. At present the Library contains almost 7,500 books, DVDs and magazines which support the curriculum and reading for pleasure. The Library Resource Centre contains study spaces for 40 individuals as well as 20 PC computers and 15 laptops. There is a specified area for Careers Information and a Staff Library.
The Library Resource Centre is open to all year groups every day at lunchtime.
