The PTA comprises of parents and teachers who meet approximately every 1 or 2 months throughout the school year. 

The main aims for Douglas Academy PTA are :- 

  •         Plan and manage fund raising events and activities
  •         Provide social events for pupils and parents
  •         Provide additional funding for school and pupil initiatives
  •         Manage provision of school uniform, including PE kit

Being part of the PTA is very rewarding and provides a fantastic opportunity to meet other parents and support school and pupil initiatives and improvements. 

PTA meetings are held at the school conference room and are open to all parents, carers, and guardians. 

New members will always be warmly welcomed and it is not imperative that all meetings are attended – any level of support will be greatly appreciated. If you would like to join the PTA contact any committee member or the school office.
